Gather Round, O Merry Titans A Free-Verse Poem by Timekeeper Frank Campisano: timekeeperx@yahoo.com Gather Round, O Merry Titans... And rejoice at thee happiness! Through a year of sorrow... And a year of joy! But as it comes to a close, Right before our eyes We remember this great holiday And peacefully ponder- How we've made it so far Without this wonderful feeling Of pure love in eachother As best friends tonight. But nothing beats, The beat of our hearts As we gather in circle On this merry night Hands joined, Smiling and singing, At peace together, Once and for all. So as we sit here this Christmas morning, And gaze at the gifts Neatly wrapped before us, Tears fill our eyes In graditude, Not sorrow. In peace, Not war. Gather Round, O Merry Titans Rejoice and be Glad Merry Christmas to All, And to All a Good Night
