a new version of The Night Before Christmas by Jacqui S aka "odd odd": oddodd89@gmail.com 'Twas the night before Blorthog And all through the tower, Not a thing was moving Not even Starfire's Zhargtoff flower. The shoes were hung By the windows with nails, There was no chimney Because of recent tales. When out on the roof There arose such a clatter, They sprang from their beds To see what was the matter. Away to the windows They ran so fast, A glass fell on the floor With a big loud BLAST. There in the window Stood a dark, gloomy fellow, With black and copper mask And he began to bellow. "He's stealing Christmas!" Beast Boy screamed at the sight, Robin clapped his hand To turn on the light. Slade jumped from his spot Grabbing Starfire's arm The others attacked him Getting her out of harm. They tied him up To a pole out the door Waiting for the police While rain began to pour. Slade disappeared Without the sight of a kid He escaped getting caught With evil villains amid. They left when he did Knowing it was done, Knowing who had done it Slade was the one. But the presents were still there None had been taken, The Titans had won But they were still all shaken. They unwrapped their presents With a smile and a grin, Seeing the joy that Santa brought They definitely did win.
