Christmas Day Morning By Elicia Mira ||LaiShA MiRa||: insane_drama@hotmail.com It is Christmas Eve and As the titans go to bed, They remember the mince pies, They were just fed. No crime for a while now, The titans sigh happily, Nothing at all has been fowl. They slip into their pajamas, And lay their heads upon their beds, As big Cyborg snores, Cuddling a Christmas teddy bear. But what's this? What can be heard upon the rooftop? Is it Santa claus, To bring our titans gifts and lollipops? No chimney to slip down through, The figure finds his way down, And here is something that it found. Only a Christmas tree, On top of a carpet made of silk. No, it is not Santa Claus we find, It is just Slade, trying to steal Christmas from the titans, never to not mind. "Their presents belong to me," he snickers with a grin, As he throws the presents into a brown sack, And scampers away without a sound. Soon, Beast Boy awakes, As his animal senses sense an intruder, He goes to Robin, And Robin assumes, "It must be a Christmas party pooper." They awake the other titans, Who groan and kick, Wondering who might just disturb them, And think it is a midnight trick. "No, it is not the Grinch," Robin begins, "To disturb your beauty sleep, It is just Slade who's trying to make us weep." Raven grabs her cloak, Starfire gets prepared, While Beast Boy laughs at Cyborg, Who sleeps with a Christmas teddy bear. Giving Beast Boy a whack on the head, "I don't think Slade's here, For a piece of Beast Boy's tofu bread." Beast Boy grumbles and looks away, Robin gives orders of how to play. "Teen Titans, go!" Many hours later, The titans are pooped, They kick Slade out, And find Raven, Giving a large pout. "It is already sunrise, Didn't you know-" "And there still isn't any snow," Starfire finishes. Suddenly a large cloud apears, And snow drops down. The titans smile, And go back to bed, For later on, They have to prepare, With five Teen Titans, Of gifts to shared. And when the titans go back up to their rooms, Robin whispers to his fellow team mates, "Merry Christmas to all, And to all, a good morning."
